The VAVS (Veterans Affairs Voluntary Service) at the Western Nebraska Vet's Home is starting a project to bring back the Husker Tailgate Parties at the Home. These were a very big thing before Covid but have fallen off since. The home is repainting
the canteen into a husker den. We have lots of husker things to hang on
the wall. The need is to replace the dumb TVS with smart TVS. VFW Auxiliary
1681 and a private donor is putting in a 75" smart TV up. We need to
raise funds to replace two 55" TVS so everyone can watch the games.
If you can help the home out let us know. The TVS are used every day,
some watch news, others watch Gunsmoke. These TVS are to improve their lives.
Some don't have TVS in their rooms, others want to get out of their rooms and
talk to others and watch news. Thank you for your time.
